SUBJECT AREA: GENERAL ELECTIVE
In this course students have the opportunity to work with their hands to learn wood working skills. Students learn to work with carpentry tools. They design wood created products such as cabinets, signs, and even furniture.
GOAL
The student will become familiar with how to build through the use of wood. As part of this course students will:
•design
•measure
•use carpentry tools
•create 3-5 products
GRADING
•completion of exercises,
•participation
•completion of 2-3 projects
